vebrores EP HBC has been selected to transform a 650 m² automotive repair workshop for Autoglass in Slough.
Autoglass, founded in England in 1972, is vehicle glass repair and replacement company, serving motorists throughout the UK. With a fleet of just under 1000 technicians offering their mobile services, the company also has a number of specialist centres across the country where additional equipment is available to complete more complex or involved windscreen maintenance jobs.
The company’s Slough workshop, one of 95 of its kind across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, has been transformed using Vebro Polymers’ high-build epoxy coating system, vebrores EP HBC, in Dusty Grey RAL 7037.
Installed by the team at Central Flooring, the two-coat epoxy coating system was applied to the existing slab, which had been prepared through mechanical grinding before being cleaned and primed ready to receive the epoxy finish.
Central Flooring is a specialist installer of high-performance resin flooring systems to the industrial, commercial and sports sectors and is dedicated to providing its customers with guaranteed service and high-quality flooring solutions.

vebrores EP HBC was installed at the Autoglass repair centre in Dusty Grey RAL 7037, one of Vebro’s Polymers 18 stocked colours — a series of epoxy-coating shades that we keep in stock at all times, giving applicators the peace of mind that their chosen colour will be available under a quick turnaround.
The 18 stocked colours include 9 Glorious Greys and 9 Brilliant Brights, and cover our most popular pigments across the vebrores range of high-build and self-levelling epoxy coatings.
You can see the full range of readily-available, in-stock pigments in the Stocked Epoxy Coatings Colour Guide.

The pigmented, solvent-free, high build epoxy floor coating is specifically designed to provide outstanding protection for concrete substrates in medium duty dry processing areas. Its hard-wearing and chemical-resistant properties make it an ideal flooring solution for automotive centres specialising in windscreen repair and replacement.
In these busy environments, heavy foot traffic, constant equipment movement and the dragging of heavy components are common occurrences. The abrasion-resistant characteristics of vebrores EP HBC ensure that the flooring can endure the rigours of daily operations, standing up to wear and tear over time. This durability ensures that the floor maintains its pristine appearance and functionality for many years, minimising the need for frequent repairs or replacements and contributing to long-term cost savings.
vebrores EP HBC‘s seamless application further enhances its suitability for automotive repair centres. Without any gaps or joints, the flooring becomes easy to clean and maintain, creating a hygienic workspace. This aspect is particularly important for Autoglass, as it guarantees that the facility can uphold high cleanliness standards required in the windscreen repair and replacement process.
Another essential aspect for automotive repair centres like Autoglass’ workshop in Slough is chemical resistance. vebrores EP HBC demonstrates excellent resistance to cleaning solvents, automotive oils, and other chemicals typically found in repair centres. This resistance not only safeguards the longevity of the flooring but also ensures that the flooring surface remains unaffected by exposure to cleaning agents, adhesives used in the windscreen replacement process and other automotive products.
The seamless and chemical-resistant nature of vebrores EP HBC creates a protective barrier for the underlying concrete substrate. By preventing chemical penetration and offering resistance to a wide range of substances typically present in automotive repair centres, the flooring helps maintain the integrity of the concrete, preventing potential damage and deterioration.
