Nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Scotland, Glenturret Distillery has been crafting exceptional single malt whisky since its establishment in 1763. As the oldest distillery in Scotland, this historic gem holds a special place in the hearts of whisky connoisseurs and history enthusiasts alike.
Glenturret Distillery’s essence lies in its ability to transport visitors back to a bygone era, where skilled artisans meticulously crafted each batch of whisky. Every aspect of the distillery, from the architecture to the decor, contributes to this enchanting experience.

Whisky production is a complex process that involves various stages, from malting and mashing to fermentation and distillation. While this age-old craft produces the beloved spirit that we enjoy, it can also pose challenges to certain types of flooring.
Preserving the distillery’s authenticity while infusing modern, protective flooring was of paramount importance in the recent refresh project, combining tradition and innovation.
Vebro’s solution
vebrores EP Flake was applied over 250 m2 of the Glenturret Distillery, chosen primarily for its simple, seamless application, its durability and chemical resistance properties and the option to choose a custom flake blend to match the distillery’s brand colours.
vebrores EP Flake is able to withstand the heavy machinery and chemical spills associated with this kind of processing environment, and its smooth, non-porous surface prevents dirt and stains from penetrating, helping to maintain a hygienic environment.
vebrores EP Flake also delivers excellent slip resistance, creating a safer working environment for distillery staff and visitors alike.

The company, who also offer a range of other services including painting, decorating and industrial cleaning, deployed their dedicated resin flooring team to transform Glenturret Distillery.
