Partnering together across the UK, the two brands are now able to provide architects, engineers and main contractors with a single-source solution for the design, supply and install of in-situ pour-applied seamless epoxy resin terrazzo flooring in commercial developments, residential buildings and other public venues.
Expanding on Vebro Polymers’ extensive portfolio of flooring products, this single-source specification package includes all of the other specialist products required to build-up the floor from substrate to finish – including underfloor heating pipework and retaining cementitious heavy-duty levelling screeds – all under a single-source supply and warranty agreement.
Long established in the design community, Diespeker & Co has built up a global reputation for expert craftsmanship and creative flair. Founded in Hamburg in 1881 before relocating to London, the company creates bespoke terrazzo tiles, worktops, stairwells, treads and other pre-cast furniture and details that have been used in stunning design schemes for clients including Apple, Folie, WeWork & Reiss.
The team at Vebro Polymers, headquartered in Knutsford, has more than 200 years’ combined industry experience in the global polymer flooring market and supplies a wide range of seamless resin-based flooring solutions, pump-applied levelling underlayments, performance enhancing screed additives and car park waterproofing and wearing systems.
Combining Vebro Polymers’ high-quality resins with Diespeker’s passion for terrazzo creates a unique opportunity for clients to design their own seamless resin terrazzo floor topping with the peace of mind of specifying quality, long-lasting materials backed by expert installation through the consortium’s approved resin applicators.
Available in a range of styles and designs from classic terrazzo, through to venetian and palladiana finishes, the system can incorporate marble, coloured glass, granite, flint and any other stone or material aggregate the client desires – all bound in Vebro’s low emission, liquid-tight, coloured or clear epoxy resin binder.
Once trowelled, the system is then expertly diamond ground and sealed with a water-based, UV-stable, polyurea seal coat to unveil a stunning kaleidoscope of colourful aggregates underfoot. For areas where additional slip-resistance is required, a clear polymer bead can be mixed into the clear resin sealer for extra traction underfoot.
