Vebro Polymers, a global formulator, manufacturer and supplier of seamless, liquid-applied polymer flooring technologies, and US-based Freedom Chemical Corporation, a prominent manufacturer and provider of commercial waterproofing and polyurethane based construction solutions are delighted to announce a new collaboration to introduce Vebro’s polymer flooring portfolio to the US market.
Vebro and Freedom are working together under an exclusive partnership to produce and promote several value-added floor coatings and multi-layer floor systems across West Coast USA and beyond.
This new enterprise will provide Freedom’s existing customers operating within the waterproofing and construction products space access to a full line of commercial and industrial polymer-based flooring solutions that they may be unable to find within existing supply chains.
Marketed under the banner, Vebro Polymers from Freedom Chemical, the new product line will feature several specialty epoxy primers and coatings as well as a full range of cementitious urethane flooring systems, which will be supplied out of Freedom’s state-of-the-art manufacturing premises in Foothill Ranch, CA.
This includes a range of epoxy primers including moisture mitigating products designed for use on damp or newly laid concrete, as well as specialty oil tolerant primers for renovation projects where the slab has been heavily contaminated with oils, fuels, or grease.
Also featured are both standard and high-build epoxy coatings, which can be pigmented in any RAL shade or blended with metallic pigments for additional wow-factor underfoot.
Likewise, orange peel effect, high-chemical resistance and high-traffic coating systems are also available for areas subject to high volumes of foot, rubber or steel-wheeled traffic or enhanced exposure to corrosive chemicals or cleaning agents.
For clients or national brands working in the food and beverage processing and packaging industries, a full suite of USDA compliant solutions ranging from 1/8” – 3/8” are also part of the collaborative offering. These materials are designed to provide a robust, resistant, easy clean and inherently hygienic surface in premises operating a food safety management system.
Vebro materials are formulated to comply with stringent European standards aiming to lessen the environmental impact of a construction project without compromising on the performance or aesthetics of building materials.
The collaboration with Freedom Chemical supports Vebro’s commitment to overseas growth and expansion, extending the brand’s reach to clients located along the Pacific Coast and neighbouring states
Mark Verinder, CFO, CCO & Co-founder of Vebro Group
Vebro materials are both water-based or solvent-free and have been designed to minimise the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) during installation, which can be harmful to human health. On top of this, all Vebro’s cementitious urethane materials are phthalate-free whereas all epoxy materials are nonylphenol free for additional safeguards against potentially toxic components, with both chemistries completely inert once cured.
“The collaboration with Freedom Chemical supports Vebro’s commitment to overseas growth and expansion, extending the brand’s reach to clients located along the Pacific Coast and neighbouring states”, said CFO, CCO and co-founder of Vebro Group, Mark Verinder.
“Partnering with Freedom to manufacture Vebro’s proven, European-grade formulations from the company’s base in Lake Forest, will not only allow Vebro to penetrate new markets along the Pacific coast, but enable Freedom to bolster its product offering to existing customers as well as appealing to new audiences,” adds Verinder.
