Vebro Polymers, a leading manufacturer of seamless polymer-based flooring solutions headquartered in the UK, is delighted to announce a strategic commercial partnership with A&I Coatings, an Australian-based formulator of chemical coatings for niche industrial and architectural applications, to exclusively promote, sell and distribute its cement-modified polyurethane flooring range, vebrocrete, across the country.
The new agreement will see A&I Coatings leverage its existing network of specialist applicators, specifiers and industrial clients to introduce the vebrocrete range, which has been expertly engineered for use in the food processing, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries.

vebrocrete PU cement flooring
Cement-modified polyurethane flooring systems are a popular choice in heavy-duty processing environments. While many flooring options available resist individual service challenges such as abrasion, heavy impact, chemical aggression and high temperature, only cement-modified polyurethane can cope in the face of all these burdens occurring simultaneously.
Laid seamlessly in-situ, PU cement provides robust protection for the concrete slab, preventing any exposure to chemical spillage, cleaning solvent, hot water washdowns or even steam cleaning from degrading the underlying substrate.
High physical strength properties ensure the floor can withstand heavy impact and rolling vehicular loads, whereas the material’s cementitious composition enables the surface to expand and contract at the same rate as the concrete substrate, making it the ideal choice for industries subject to extreme thermal shock, cycling and temperature swing including food processing and manufacturing facilities.

Partnering together in Australia: Vebro & A&I Coatings
“Australia’s food and beverage industry is one of the country’s largest sectors, accounting for more than one-third of its total manufacturing output,” confirmed Ben Gillies, Managing Director and owner of A&I Coatings, a family-run business since 1981.
“This exclusive distribution agreement with Vebro Polymers allows us to capitalise on the growth in this thriving market; offering proprietary technology that enables Australian food brands to enhance the efficiency of their processing environments while at the same time meet high environmental and hygiene safeguards.
“We’re delighted to be able to offer our existing customer groups a new technology to include in project proposals in which they already have a footing or established relationship”.
The vebrocrete range of HACCP International certified PU cement materials has been expertly engineered to offer maximum flexibility to end user customers and specialist applicators alike.
The material offers all the performance benefits you would expect from a PU cement surface once cured, but incorporates several benefits, designed to enhance the application experience including improved working time and filler flexibility.
The vebrocrete PU cement material is available in 4 or 5 component kits, with universal resin components and separate liquid pigment pastes. Simply change the filler pack to change the body of the system. Application teams can also take advantage of mixing station compatible pack sizes.
Designed for installation in climates subject to both hot and humid conditions as well as cooler temperatures, the vebrocrete formulation has been developed for all seasons and international markets!
