Vebro Polymers is pleased to welcome Azam Bakar to the Technical team, based in the company’s Kuala Lumpur facility. The move represents a positive step for Azam, who will continue to develop his already impressive career at Vebro under the expert guidance and leadership of Grant Adamson, Group Technical Director.
Azam joins Vebro with over ten years’ experience as a chemist within the construction chemicals industry and, having been heavily involved in quality control and process optimisation in previous roles, he is a valuable addition to the team.
His background in attaining ISO certifications, including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 17025, highlights his proficiency in maintaining high standards of quality and safety in production environments, and his meticulous attention to equipment management underscores his commitment to upholding stringent quality control measures.
From monitoring manufacturing processes, to testing raw materials and finished goods, Azam’s hands-on approach in both the lab and production area will be invaluable as Vebro Polymers continues to grow its domestic business in Malasyia as well as its export markets across Southeast Asia and beyond.
Coupled with his experience as a chemist in the construction industry, Azam’s background in technical sales has resulted in a commercially aware approach to innovation and development, as well as a customer-centric mindset, essential for maintaining high customer satisfaction and product excellence.
Grant Adamson, Vebro’s Group Technical Director, has big plans for Azam and the Technical Team as a whole, saying “there are some really exciting development projects in the works at the moment, and I’m confident that Azam will be integral in getting these new developments to market successfully.”
