A fifth generation family business, The CJ Williams Funeral Service of Telford has been supporting families and loved ones through bereavement and funeral arrangements for over 140 years, with continued growth through acquisition and expansion during that time.
Now, with three facilities across Telford, the company continues to build upon the vision and ethos set out by the founders’ son and second director, Christopher Williams, when he joined the business in 1961. The goal is to provide every bereaved family the company serves with the finest levels of service and facilities available.

As part of a multi-phase project to renovate the flooring in various areas of the funeral homes, a new workshop space has been transformed with the removal of an unfit-for-purpose single pack floor paint, followed by the installation of vebrospeed Flake.
Vebro’s solution
Not only is vebrospeed Flake an attractive, UV-stable floor coating system, comprising a mixture of coloured flakes (in this case the blend Long Island Iced Tea), the decorative finish exhibits excellent chemical and stain resistance, making it easy to clean and maintain.
Based on methyl-methacrylate (MMA) technology, vebrospeed Flake cures in as little as 60 minutes, allowing building operators to regain access to their facility quickly.
For CJ Williams, this has meant they were able to install new cooling equipment the morning after the floor was installed, ensuring their clients experienced minimal disruption.
